The Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) is a DoD-wide effort to promote the well-being of Service Members and their families by providing useful resources. While this is an open forum, it's also a family friendly one, so please keep your comments and posts clean. You participate at your own risk, taking personal responsibility for your comments, your username and any information provided. C

omments and posts that violate any of the guidelines listed below may be removed:

• Do not post graphic, obscene, explicit or racial comments. We also do not allow comments that are abusive, hateful, vindictive or intended to defame anyone or any organization.

📅 It’s time for a new fiscal year and a new look for the FY25 Pre-Separation Counseling Resource Guide from our Transition Assistance Program (TAP).

This helpful guide is introduced during Pre-Separation Counseling—a brief provided by a transition or career counselor that occurs no later than 365 days prior to the date of separation.

Here’s what’s new:
✔️ Updated content and web links providing resources before, during, and after transition.
✔️ Redesigned layout and graphics creating a more visually appealing and accessible document.

Education benefits are always a hot topic when it comes to determining eligibility and the application requirements, especially for military spouses and dependent children.

To help unravel this maze, the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) provides training, information, and services to help Service members and their families navigate their VA education benefits and entitlements. The Military Life Cycle (MLC) modules help Service members, Veterans and their families take full advantage of VA benefits and services.

The VA Education and Training Benefits for Spouses and Dependent Children module describes Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits and GI Bill education assistance programs that may be available to the spouses and dependent children of Service members and Veterans. This Online Resource Guide provides you with the web links to important resources related to the course.
