The 1-291st BSB Shadow Battalion utilized the occasion of our quarterly Family Shadow breakfast to welcome and bid farewell to Shadows who have been integrated and will be leaving the Shadow Battalion. Shadow 6, LTC Mitchell, Hunt and Shadow 7, CSM Wayne, Crudup extends a warm welcome to the Shadow Family to CSM Gregorio, Robles; CPT Peter, Mahoney; CPT Nicholas, Salewski; and 1LT Justin, Kirby, together with their families. As they get ready to take over in their next career endeavors, the Shadows also bid farewell to CSM Wayne, Crudup, and 1SG Kevin Smart. Given their profound influence on the value of family and caring for the troops, they will both be sorely missed. During their yearly JROTC Tomah HS Homecoming Parade, CW3 Kevin, Doyle, and SFC Luis Castillo drove a Light Medium Tactical Vehicle (LMTV) for display. As they distributed candy to attendees, the JROTC cadets were able to experience what it's like to ride in the back of the LMTV. The Shadows are constantly involved in helping our community and providing assistance when required.
