Looking for something fun to do with the kids this week? 🚒🚜🚓

The Fort Meade Public Library is hosting its annual Big Truck Day, giving children and families a chance to get up close with the vehicles and equipment that help keep our community running every day.

From fire trucks to heavy equipment, kids can climb aboard, explore, ask questions, and meet some of the people who operate these impressive machines. It's a great opportunity for hands-on learning and a whole lot of fun!

🌿 Join Us for the Peace River Cleanup & Free Tree Giveaway! 🌿

One of Fort Meade's greatest natural treasures is the beautiful Peace River, and on Saturday, June 13, from 8:00 AM until Noon, we have an opportunity to come together and help keep it clean for future generations.
Whether you prefer to paddle the river in your kayak or canoe, or stay on shore and help with shoreline cleanup efforts, volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate.

1639 Frostproof Highway, Fort Meade

✅ Lunch provided for all volunteers
✅ Free tree giveaway (while supplies last)

Today I had the honor of attending the Fort Meade High School Class of 2026 graduation ceremony as a special guest and personally shaking the hand of each graduate.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought you to this important milestone, and our community is incredibly proud of each of you.

Whether your next step is college, trade school, military service, or entering the workforce, I wish you all success and happiness in your future endeavors. Keep chasing your goals, believe in yourselves, and remember that Fort Meade will always be cheering you on.

We are so excited to share that the Fort Meade 1st Annual Community Baby Shower will be held on May 23rd from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ft. Meade Historical Museum Barn on N. Tecumseh Avenue.
This special event is all about supporting expecting mothers in our community. If you or someone you know is expecting, please reach out to get registered and share your wish list so we can help make this a meaningful and supportive experience.
