Description: The Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability programs are the largest of several Federal programs that provide assistance to people with disabilities. While these programs are different in many ways, both are administered by the Social Security Administration. The seminar is designed to help families gain a greater understanding of the programs. The seminar explains how claimants qualify to receive benefits, when to apply for benefits, how to apply benefits, and how much money the person with special needs may possibly receive. The seminar will provide you with information and resources needed to secure benefits for your family member with special needs now and in the future.
