Your four-legged best friend enjoys the Greenway just as much as you do! From exploring the trails to joining you at concerts and outdoor events, there are plenty of opportunities to bring your pup along for the adventure.

Please remember that all dogs must remain on a leash at all times. We look forward to seeing you and your pup on the Greenway soon!

Organized annually by the American Hiking Society and supported by Sunbelt Rentals, National Trails Day is a celebration of outdoor adventure and the trails that connect us to nature.

Spend the day exploring the Greenway’s scenic trail system with free trail access for all visitors. Whether you enjoy hiking, trail running or simply spending time outdoors, it’s the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of the Greenway.

Summer evenings were made for trail running 🌅

Join us Wednesday, June 3 for the next race in the Sundown Series Trail Races at the Anne Springs Close Greenway.

The Sundown Series features evening races through the scenic trails of the Greenway, offering runners a chance to enjoy cooler temperatures, beautiful sunset views and a welcoming community atmosphere during the summer months.

Each course includes a mix of singletrack and gravel trails ranging from three to five miles. Whether you participate in one race or the full series, runners of all ages and experience levels are welcome!

With over 40 miles of trails, lake access and a full weekend of outdoor programming, there are plenty of ways to spend time outside this holiday weekend.

🎶 The Rooted Rhythm Concert Series returns May 21 at the Anne Springs Close Greenway.

Before opening night with , take a look through our Opening Night guide for important event details, admission information, what to bring, and new updates for the 2026 season.

New this year:
• Greenway members receive free admission and no parking fees at signature events
• Dedicated member “Skip the Line” entrance
• A new event path connecting the Dairy Barn and Comporium Amphitheater to improve accessibility and event flow

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy live music under the trees all summer long.

At the Anne Springs Close Greenway, our mission is rooted in connecting people to nature through recreation and education while protecting the landscapes that make those experiences possible. From peaceful trails to lakeside views, the Greenway offers space to slow down, recharge, and reconnect.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage you to take a moment outside for yourself. Go for a walk. Listen to the birds. Sit by the water. Take a deep breath. Nature has a way of helping us pause.
