Indian Land Rescue/EMS (no longer in service) was an all volunteer, non-profit Rescue and EMS agency located in Indian Land, South Carolina. We offered a broad range of rescue services such as full service vehicle extrication, large truck extrication and school bus extrication. Indian Land Rescue also specializes in Wilderness Search and Rescue, Water Rescue and Rope Rescue. Along with our rescue
services, Indian Land Rescue provides back-up Emergency Medical Services to Lancaster County EMS. Our membership was comprised of Paramedics, EMT-Intermediates, EMT-Basics and Medical First Responders, most of which are dual trained as Rescue Technicians. Our station were located at 8290 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, SC 29707. We shared a station with Lancaster County EMS 4. Our fleet consisted of:

2005 Ford F550 Medium Duty Rescue Truck equipped with hydraulic rescue equipment including the "Jaws of Life." Rescue 2 (Unit 410)
2008 Ford F250 Light Duty Rescue and Quick Response Truck equipped with portable hydraulic rescue equipment, medical equipment, rope rescue equipment and water rescue equipment. EMS 44 (Unit 411)
1998 Ford Type III AEV TraumaHawk Ambulance. This Advanced Life Support unit responds to medical emergencies in the Indian Land area when Lancaster County EMS is unavailable. EMS 44 is licensed by SC DHEC under the supervision of Lancaster County EMS. Trailer 1
Trailer 1 houses our 2008 John Deere Gator and is used to carry extra wooden cribbing used for stabilization of vehicles during extrication. Gator
2008 John Deere Gator utilized during Search and Rescue operations. Our Gator is equipped with a "Med-Bed" used for patient transport from areas in which and ambulance cannot access. Boat 1
