🚑✨ A New Look for the Future of Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS! ✨🚑

We are excited to officially share a first look at our new vehicle design!

Over the next couple weeks, this design will gradually make its way onto all of our trucks as we continue to grow and evolve. This updated look reflects who we are as an organization today—professional, progressive, and committed to providing the highest level of emergency medical care to our community.

While the graphics may be changing, one thing never will: our dedication to the citizens, visitors, and public safety partners we serve every day. Whether we're responding to medical emergencies, supporting firefighters during large incidents through our Rehab Unit, standing by at community events, or helping train the next generation of EMS professionals through our Cadet Program, our mission remains the same.

This new design is more than just a fresh appearance. It represents the continued growth of Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS, our partnership with Atrium Health, and our commitment to being a trusted resource for York County and beyond.

As these vehicles begin to hit the road, keep an eye out for the new look around town! We are proud of where we've been, excited about where we're going, and grateful for the continued support from our community.

Today, during EMS Week Day 6 — EMS Recognition Day — we pause to recognize the incredible dedication, compassion, and sacrifice of EMS professionals everywhere.

Behind every call is a team willing to step into someone’s worst moment and provide care, comfort, and hope. Whether it’s a life-threatening emergency, a simple reassurance, or being there for a family in crisis, our EMS providers continue to make a difference every single day.

At Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS, we are proud of the men and women who serve this community with professionalism, heart, and unwavering commitment. Long hours, missed holidays, sleepless nights, and difficult calls never stop them from answering when the community needs them most.

This year’s EMS Week theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” reminds us that great patient care is never accomplished alone. It takes teamwork, trust, and dedication from every provider, partner, and supporter involved.

To all EMS professionals — thank you for your strength, your resilience, and the compassion you show every day. Your work does not go unnoticed, and this community is stronger because of you. 💙🚑

🚑 EMS WEEK 2026 | DAY 4 🚑
❤️ Save-A-Life Day ❤️
(CPR & Stop the Bleed)

Today is about more than recognition — it’s about action.

Every day, lives are changed in seconds by cardiac arrest, traumatic injuries, and severe bleeding emergencies. Immediate CPR and bleeding control can mean the difference between life and death before EMS even arrives.

At Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS, we believe that lifesaving education empowers our community. Whether it’s learning hands-only CPR, how to properly use an AED, or how to Stop the Bleed, these are skills that anyone can use to save a family member, friend, coworker, or even a stranger.

Our crews witness firsthand how critical those first few moments are. That is why we continue to promote awareness, preparedness, and education throughout our community.

This year’s EMS Week theme, Improving Outcomes, Together, reminds us that saving lives is a team effort — from dispatchers, firefighters, law enforcement, nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, and community members willing to step in when it matters most.

Together, we can make a difference.
Together, we can save lives.

Day 3 of EMS Week 2026 — Safety Tuesday 💙🚑

This week’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” starts with making sure our crews have the tools, support, and resources they need to stay safe while serving our community every day.

Today, our administration team showed their appreciation by cooking both breakfast and dinner for our crews throughout the day. In addition, every crew member received a tactical bag filled with goodies as a small thank you for all they do.

Safety is more than policies and equipment — it’s about taking care of one another, supporting our teams, and ensuring everyone goes home safely at the end of every shift.

Thank you to all of our EMS professionals for your continued dedication, compassion, and commitment to serving others. We appreciate everything you do for our community each and every day.

Even while our Rehab Trailer was committed to supporting the Italian Festival yesterday, Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS remained fully prepared to answer the call for Fire Rehab coverage anywhere in York County.

At approximately 1556 yesterday afternoon, we were requested to respond for a large-scale fire rehab assignment. With temperatures rising and a significant number of firefighters operating on scene for an extended period of time, crews were facing exhausting and dangerous heat conditions.

Atrium Health Fort Mill EMS responded with:
• EMS 218 – Rehab Support Truck
• EMS 212
• District 215

Our crews worked to provide hydration, cooling, medical monitoring, and a safe place for firefighters to recover so they could continue operating safely and effectively.

We were honored to support:

* Newport Fire Department
* Oakdale Fire-Rescue
* Rock Hill Fire
* Riverview Fire Department
* Bethesda Volunteer Fire Department
* Bethel SC Volunteer Fire Department
* City of York Fire Department, SC
* York County Fire
* Fort Mill Fire Department
* York County Office of Emergency Management

Fire Rehab is more than just water and cooling fans — it is an essential part of firefighter safety. Long incidents and extreme heat can quickly take a toll on even the most experienced responders. We are proud to stand beside our public safety partners and help ensure everyone goes home safely after the call.

Thank you to all agencies involved for your dedication, teamwork, and commitment to protecting our community.
