The pool will reopen tomorrow at 11:00am! Thank you all for your patience and understanding while we worked to get everything back up and running.
We wanted to provide a quick update on what happened. Our pool mechanic, who has worked on our pool for more than 10 years, believes the recent storms caused a power surge that affected our equipment. We are the third local pool he has worked on with similar issues following the storms over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, this was not something that could have been prevented.
He also serviced the pump and checked the system, and everything looked good. Our pool is, in many ways, a well-oiled machine (even nonmembers seem to know thatš), and this issue had nothing to do with pool management or how the pool has been operated, despite some of the speculation and comments made online.
We want to thank our pool staff for their quick work and efforts to address the issue and get the pool ready to reopen. And, of course, thank you to our members for your patience.
