Today we hand recounted the 2024 General Election for the Presidential race with a group of judges and staff. We did so to be transparent with the public about the accuracy of our voting systems.

We recounted 13,670 ballots with only one discrepancy. On one ballot, our adjudication team accidentally counted a vote for President-Elect Trump as an overvote when the voter had correctly corrected their mistake. Ironically, the machine had adjudicated it correctly but human error overwrote the machine's marking.

Our Recording Office will be closed tomorrow, Friday December 6th for at least the morning. We are having the second part of our large software update done. We should have exciting new features soon however! Thank you for your patience.

Mandatory Recount:
On December 3rd, we will recount the race for Town of Wiggins Trustee. Currently there is a difference of one vote between fifth and sixth place (in a vote for five situation). We will post following the recount with or without any changes. Thank you.

We have uploaded our Final Unofficial results. This includes all of the ballots with cured signatures, statewide ballots, UOCAVA (military and overseas voters), and ballots that were initially given to another county. The results will be official after our Canvass Board convenes and approves our election.

Exciting News! Safeway in Fort Morgan is the newest MV Express Kiosk in Colorado. From this kiosk, you can renew your vehicle registration, print a duplicate registration (and year tab), and check the status of a title. It will be open when Safeway is open so no more worrying if you're running late to our office or on the weekends. For more information, please visit: https://dmv.colorado.gov/kiosks
