At Woofs & Whiskers, transparency and accountability matter. As a government-run shelter that proudly accepts public support and donations, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care and quality of life for animals throughout Morgan County.
Through compassion and collaboration with community members and partners, we help lost animals find safe, loving, and nurturing homes.
Today, we are sharing statistics for May for all animals brought into the shelter, as well as the outcomes for those animals — including pets reunited with their rightful owners and those placed into loving, nurturing homes. You may also have noticed that we brought in 4 animals and transferred out 8 animals to another shelter. All of these transfers were done in an effort to give these animals the best chance of finding their forever home, rather than spending their time in a shelter. Humane Colorado, Boulder Valley Humane, and the Buddy Center in Castle Rock are all shelters that we partnered with last month.
