When life happens and the best thing you can do for a four-legged companion is to find them a new home, we are an option, but we might not be the solution.

That doesn’t mean we’re not willing to talk with you about your surrender, but we accept and approve these at the shelter team's discretion. When we consider a surrender, we discuss behavior, health concerns, and other factors that may impact our ability to find a new home.

If we cannot accept an animal, we will recommend other agencies that can connect your four-legged companion with a new home suited to their needs.

Owner surrenders have a $50 fee per animal.

💛 Meet Sheldon 💛

He’s a small guy, with the perfect puppy-dog eyes, waiting for the perfect home!

Sheldon is roughly 2 years old, with plenty of energy for long walks or an evening spent snuggled up on the couch.

His new owner will need to be patient with him to help him come out of his shell, but once he does, he will be the perfect companion.

If you’re interested in visiting Sheldon, stop in during visiting hours to see if he’s the pup you’ve been waiting for!

👏 What a surprise we had yesterday morning when we received a large donation of cat food from Pam Steiner and Steiner SILS Affordable Vet Care.

Thank you is an understatement, and we couldn't be more grateful for the support we've received from the community! 💕
