As we head into the weekend, we want to remind the community that all of our parks, beaches, boat ramps, centers, preserves, and pools are closed due to the impacts of Hurricane Ian. Please continue to monitor our social media channels or visit www.leeparks.org for updates.

Residents who have the ability and desire to self-haul Hurricane Ian debris while awaiting roadside pickup can use the public drop-off sites listed below. These sites are for both vegetative and structural debris.

Be prepared to show identification and be a resident of unincorporated Lee County. Accepted forms of ID include driver’s license, utility bill or a rental or lease agreement. You will be asked to complete a waiver confirming the debris came from your property. Find the waiver at www.leegov.com/storm under Operations/ Solid Waste, or get a waiver on-site.

Only storm debris will be accepted and you must be prepared to unload your trucks yourself.
