The Global Engagement Office exists to assist International Students

International Services provides overall leadership to Florida Gulf Coast University in developing, coordinating and promoting international education opportunities for students and professionals. The office offers guidance, resources, support services and programs to the university to initiate or enhance student opportunities and professional development experiences. The principal goals of the off

ice are to advance global perspectives, prepare us for success in a global society and promote mutual understanding of, and respect for, diverse cultures. International Services provides support services for International students, information and assistance to FGCU students for Study Abroad, consultation to University departments, and coordinates FGCU's Exchange Visitor Program for students and scholars.

Are you passionate about global engagement and ready to make a meaningful impact on campus? The Global Engagement Office is now accepting applications for the Fall 2026 GEO Ambassador cohort!

📅 Applications close April 27, 2026
📣 Decisions will be shared by May 11, 2026

Please note:
🔹 Both new and returning ambassadors must complete the application
🔹 This is a commitment-driven role. We are seeking students who are reliable, engaged, and ready to actively contribute
🔹 Be sure to review all program expectations carefully before applying

This is a valuable leadership opportunity to represent GEO, support international initiatives, and build a strong global community on campus. Selected students will receive additional instructions upon acceptance.

As the year comes to an end, we at the Global Engagement Office would like to express our gratitude for everyone who participated and contributed with GEO’s mission this semester.

Yesterday we had the great change to gather together one last time for our International Potluck, and celebrate the international community at FGCU.
