🥕 Farm day fun! 🌱
Our Protected Harbor residents enjoyed a wonderful visit to a local farm, where they got up close with some friendly animals and had the sweetest time feeding them carrots! 🥕

It was a day filled with smiles and unforgettable moments. We love creating opportunities to get out, explore, and enjoy all that our local community has to offer! 💚

🐷🍖 Good food, great company, and lots of fun!

Our Protected Harbor residents enjoyed a delicious lunch at Rib City! Everyone found something tasty to enjoy and, of course, everyone found their favorite pig on the wall! 🐷❤️

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with good food, laughter, and time together. 😊

Protected Harbor residents joined Loveland Center, Inc. for their annual Soap Box Derby and enjoyed BBQ for lunch! Thank you Loveland Center Venice Area for hosting the derby!

🍗❤️ Kim’s Kitchen was cooking up something special!

Kim made delicious roasted chicken for the entire house, filling the kitchen with the wonderful smell of a home-cooked meal. Everyone enjoyed gathering around the table for a meal made with love! 🥰

Want to try Kim’s recipe?
Simple Roasted Chicken
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (4–5 lbs)
2 Tbsp olive oil
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika & Italian seasoning
1 lemon, halved

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425°F. Rub the chicken with olive oil and season generously. Place the lemon halves inside and roast for 1–1¼ hours, or until the thickest part reaches 165°F. Let it rest for 10–15 minutes, then slice and enjoy! 😋

☕ Pumpkin Spice Season!
Our Protected Harbor residents recently headed out for a coffee run and enjoyed picking up some of their favorite drinks. And yes… pumpkin spice is back!

Coffee runs are a fun way to get out into the community, make choices, practice ordering, and enjoy some time together. We’re always looking for opportunities to make everyday activities meaningful and fun!
