Southwest Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking A collaboration amongst law enforcement, private agencies, faith-based communities, and private citizens committed to ending modern day slavery.

Southwest Florida Regional Human Trafficking Coalition was formally initiated in 2009 as a collaborative effort amongst law enforcement, private agencies, faith-based communities, and concerned citizens committed to ending modern-day slavery in our area. Developed out of the Lee County Human Trafficking Task Force, started in 2005, the Coalition covers the counties of Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry-Glades, and DeSoto.

Wednesday around 4:45 a.m., Lee County Sheriffโ€™s Office deputies responded to a Fort Myers grocery store parking lot after reports of a ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ.

The child was transported to a local hospital where they later told deputies ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ข๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐ก๐š๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐š๐œ๐ข๐.

During the investigation, other children told deputies their father would pressure them into using narcotics and would provide them with drugs.

Deputies later located the father at the La Quinta Inn on Marketplace Road. While searching the hotel room, ๐๐ž๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ฒ๐ฅ, ๐‹๐’๐ƒ, ๐œ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ž, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฃ๐ฎ๐š๐ง๐š.

๐‰๐ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐‘๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐  was arrested and charged with two counts of child neglect without causing great bodily harm, trafficking fentanyl, trafficking L*D, possession of co***ne, possession of ma*****na.

Rivenburg is no stranger to jail. ๐‡๐ž ๐ก๐š๐ฌ ๐›๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐›๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ž๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ง ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ for various charges, including multiple drug offenses, battery, theft, and burglary.
