Today our fifth grade scientists had an exciting visit from the Lee County Mosquito Education Program! Students explored real-world science connections through hands-on learning about mosquitoes, public health, ecosystems, and environmental responsibility.

As we begin the new school year, Gateway Charter’s own first grader, Olivia, continues to shine as a reflection of our school’s STEAM focus and commitment to student greatness! Recently featured on PBS through WGCU on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University, Olivia is already inspiring others through her curiosity, creativity, and love of learning. 🚗 Back-to-School Car Line Practice Run 🚗

New to our school or need a refresher? Join us Monday, August 10, 2026, from 7:00–8:00 AM for a car line practice session for Kindergarten–5th grade families! This is a great opportunity for new families to learn arrival and dismissal procedures, meet staff, and start the school year with confidence.

Please remain in your vehicle and bring your student car tag. We look forward to seeing you there! 💙💛

Our front office will be open this weekend for families to pick up car line tags!

⏰ Open today until 4:00 PM

🗓 Sunday, August 9
⏰ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Parents are encouraged to stop by and pick up their car line tags to help ensure a smooth and safe dismissal process for all students.

Please note: For student safety, parents will not be permitted to enter car line during dismissal without displaying their official car line pass.
