The Friends of Lakes Regional Library is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to support and to raise funds for the betterment of Lakes Regional Library and/or the Lee County Library System. Our mission is to support and raise funds for the benefit of Lakes Regional Library and/or Lee County Library System. We support a wide variety of requests, which supplement the Lakes budget such as:

-Sp

onsoring and supporting the many adult, teen and youth programs
-Subscribing to the Book Page, a monthly periodical with book reviews and author interviews that is distributed for free at the Information Desk
-Purchasing needed equipment and furnishings to enhance the services provided by the Library
-Maintaining the plants in the children’s story garden
-Supplementing the periodical budget

We also support the Southwest Florida Reading Festival,an annual event, free and open to the public.
