GSCDD is preparing to launch its new parking program on September 1, 2026.

You may have noticed new parking signs being installed throughout District facilities. Please note that signage locations may be adjusted following final site walkthroughs and operational reviews by District staff.

•GSCDD Residents: $0 with a registered Residential Parking Pass
•Non-Residents: $2 per hour

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲
If you've noticed changes taking place around District facilities this week, here's what you need to know.

The GSCDD has begun the process of transitioning the Fun Park into an open green space for residents to enjoy. As part of this effort, the playground structure is being removed following the earlier removal of the basketball/volleyball court, which had reached the end of its useful life and presented ongoing safety concerns. Once complete, the area will provide additional open greenspace for residents while remaining easier to maintain and enjoy.

This project is part of a broader effort to enhance District amenities, improve operations, and invest in the community's future.

𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙚'𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚. In just a few months, residents will be enjoying new recreational opportunities at Gateway Commons, including pickleball courts, a playground and other amenities currently under development.

In the meantime, residents looking for playground amenities can continue to visit the playground at the Sherman Soccer Complex. Additional information on this project and other District initiatives is available at https://gatewaydistrict.org/districtprojects/

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: The Commons Pool has reopened and is now open for normal operations

𝐏𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘
The Commons Pool will temporarily shut down on August 12, 2026, with reopening anticipated around noon, pending completion of water infrastructure improvement activities.

This temporary closure is necessary to accommodate water-related infrastructure improvements associated with meter box replacements and ongoing Commons Park development activities.

GSCDD will provide an update once the pool is open.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as these improvements are completed.
