The Copperleaf Charitable Foundation donated $65,000 for our clinical, wellness, education and peer support services for Veterans, Military Families and Families of the Fallen.

They fundraise throughout the year through a variety of activities including an appreciation golf tournament at Copperleaf Golf Club and an annual appeal to its members. In addition, they help support the wellness of Veterans in our programs by offering opportunities to learn and play golf on their beautiful course. The fundraising year culminates in a grant to support specific, critical needs in the region.

Over the last ten years, Copperleaf has contributed $287,500 to the Home Base Florida mission.

We danced, dined and raised over $20k for our mission at The Nest Golf Club's Night Train Band Benefit Concert held this month. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we honor the courage it takes to seek help, heal and speak out.

After serving in Iraq, Veteran Matthew Loebs faced PTSD, survivors’ guilt, and long-term health challenges. Through Home Base Florida, he found the support, tools, and community that helped him reclaim his life.

No Veteran or Military Family should face these struggles alone. Healing is possible, and hope is real.

We'll be hanging out on the party deck and serving up hamburgers and hotdogs as we watch the Blue Wahoos take on the Chattanooga Lookouts. One lucky Home Base Florida guest will also be invited to throw out the first pitch. ⚾️ 🇺🇸

In honor of Memorial Day, our NWFL Program Director, Betsy Hart, was honored to speak at the University of West Florida Veterans in Leadership Conference and Memorial Day Service. The event provided a meaningful opportunity to raise awareness about the challenges many Veterans face while transitioning from military service, as well as our free clinical care, wellness, and fitness programs available to support them and their families when they return home.

It was also a privilege to pause and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. 🇺🇸

We are incredibly grateful for our growing partnership with UWF and their commitment to Veterans. Stay tuned for more impactful collaborations ahead when we launch our Warrior Health Fitness Program together this summer.
