It was a busy day for LeeFlight, but between calls we had a chance to spend a few minutes sharing our helicopter and what we do with students from Florida Gulf Coast University. 🚁

We’re always happy to answer questions, talk about air medical transport, and share a little bit of our world with the community we serve.

It was a nice moment in the middle of a busy day!

🚁 Three Days of Training. Four Fire Departments. One Great Partnership.

LeeFlight just wrapped up three days of Landing Zone training with Tice, Fort Myers Shores, Alva, and Bayshore Fire Departments.

It was a great opportunity to bring everyone together, strengthen relationships, and have open conversations about weather, air medical transport, landing zone operations, aircraft safety, patient transport, and LeeFlight capabilities.

More than anything, it was great seeing so many dedicated public safety professionals together, asking questions, sharing experiences, and working toward the same goal — providing the safest and best care possible for our community.

Thank you to all four departments for the participation, collaboration, and great conversations.

Strong partnerships make all of us better. 🚒🚑🚁

The first of three days of Landing Zone and LeeFlight Operations Education at Greenwell Park at the Lee Civic Center is underway!

A big thank you to Alva Fire Department, Bayshore Fire Department, Fort Myers Shores Fire Department, and Tice Fire Department for coming out and participating in today’s training.

It’s great to see our local agencies come together with a shared focus on patient care, operational readiness, and safety. Strong partnerships and continued training help ensure we’re ready when our communities need us most. 🚁

🚁 Changes are in the wind at LeeFlight!
You may notice LeeFlight flying a different helicopter!

We are transitioning from N533LC to N105VU. While N105VU has the same airframe and critical-care capabilities as N533LC, it features updated avionics and aviation equipment.

N105VU will serve as our aircraft until our new helicopter is delivered sometime next year. Different aircraft, same dedicated LeeFlight team—ready to provide lifesaving critical care when every minute matters!
