Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Michelle Harris as our 2026 Summer Community & Economic Development Intern!

Michelle is currently pursuing a B.S. in Political Science at Jacksonville State University with a minor in Psychology and holds an A.S. in Psychology from Northeast Alabama Community College. A native of northwest Georgia who now resides in the Fyffe area, Michelle brings experience in civic engagement, community advocacy, research, communications, and organizational leadership.

During her internship, Michelle will support DCEDAโ€™s workforce and community development initiatives while also assisting with marketing, communications, research, and organizational improvement projects.

Weโ€™re excited to have Michelle on board and look forward to a productive and impactful summer. Welcome to the team!
