🚧 Road Closure Extension – Delaware Avenue

Please be advised that the temporary closure on Delaware Avenue, in front of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and School, just west of the South 33rd Street intersection, has been extended while drainage improvements continue.

🗓️ The roadway is now scheduled to reopen on or before July 31.

Traffic Updates:
• ✅ South 33rd Street remains open.
• ✅ Delaware Avenue east of South 33rd Street remains open.
• 🚗 Please follow posted detour signs around the closure.

The next round of FPRA Murals continues to bring vibrant public art to the community.

Artist Shannen Mythen has transformed the wall at Fort Pierce Lodge 1520, located at 608 S. 5th Street, with Legacy of Unity, adding another unique piece to the City's growing collection of public art.

⚠️ Temporary Bridge Schedule Change – S.R. A1A North Causeway Bridge

The U.S. Coast Guard has authorized a temporary deviation from the operating schedule for the S.R. A1A North Causeway Bridge to allow FDOT to safely perform bascule bridge demolition.

Marine traffic impacts include:

• August 3, 2026, from 7 a.m. through 7 a.m. on August 6, 2026, the drawbridge need not open to marine traffic. The channel will be fully obstructed.
• August 6, 2026, from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., single-leaf openings will be provided. The channel will be partially obstructed. The channel will be fully obstructed for a 2-hour period for the removal of the steel bascule leaf. After 6 p.m., the channel will be fully open to navigation.
• August 7, 2026, from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., single-leaf openings will be provided. The channel will be partially obstructed. The channel will be fully obstructed for a 2-hour period for the removal of the steel bascule leaf. After 6 p.m., the channel will be fully open to navigation.
• August 8, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., single-leaf openings will be provided. The channel will be partially obstructed. The channel will be fully obstructed for a 2-hour period for the removal of the steel bascule leaf.
• At 6 p.m. on August 8, 2026, the drawbridge operation regulation is obsolete and will no longer be enforced.
