It is baby season and we are in full bloom! Lots of calls coming in already.

A reminder:

A real mom is the best mom. We should try to do anything we can to reunite the baby with its natural mom.
Place it in a box at the foot of the tree then play the YouTube sound link to call the mom. If after attempting for the day then a licensed rehabber is best. We will help with that!! In the meantime try to reunite. And NEVER offer anything to eat or drink.

Good afternoon!

As many know, we are not ones to frequently ask for donations. It is true: we don't get any money from anyone other than my pocket or you, our supporters.

Next week, two of us are going to a symposium. I attend it every year and earn my continuing education credits! The FWRA Symposium is not free, though! There are many costs involved. The program for myself, and a volunteer is close to $500 and then we have the travel and lodging expenses.

Additionally, I have decided to finally get my pre-exposure rabies vaccine. This will enable me to help animas that carry rabies, such as raccoons and skunks! Neither my insurance nor state cover the cost. It has cost me $507 per injection and there are two! I have spent $1014 to be able to handle raccoons!

I am trying to raise funds to cover the symposium and my rabies vaccines! Any day now, the baby season will start, and so will extra expenses.
