Forest Grove's loss is Samuel Gaines' gain as Ms. Person embarks on a new journey, leaving behind an impact of dedication and unrelenting passion that has helped propel Forest Grove Middle School from a C-rated institution to a beacon of excellence, mere points away from achieving an A rating. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Person has been one of the driving forces behind cultivating a positive culture and climate, forging unbreakable bonds with students, staff, and the community, and providing instrumental support in instructional endeavors, identifying resources, and assisting to boost science scores to unprecedented heights. Her selfless acts, from offering a comforting hug to a struggling student to providing support for creative arts pursuits, have left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who have had the privilege of knowing her. As Ms. Person spreads her wings to take on new challenges as an assistant principal at Samuel Gaines K8 Academy, we take joy in the knowledge that her impact will continue to be felt, inspiring generations to come, and that she will forever be welcomed back with open arms to the Bulldog Nation.
