👻🎃 Our Eagles brought the excitement to the PBIS Boo Bash! From the spooky Haunted Eagle’s Nest to the screams, laughter, and smiles, our students had a frightfully fun time celebrating positive behavior! 🦅💚💛

Ready for even BIGGER scares? Join us Wednesday starting at 5:30 p.m. for Trunk or Treat and an even bigger haunted classroom! Come for the treats… stay for the thrills! 🍬🕷️

⛈️ From the 10 o’clock news to our classroom—science came to life at Dan McCarty Middle School! 💚💛

While watching the news before bed, Mr. Hillabrandt heard meteorologist James Wieland discussing convection—the very concept his students were learning! One email and a “Why not ask?” later, our Eagles were meeting an actual weatherman! 🙌🏽

Our students were AMAZING! Their excitement, thoughtful questions, and eagerness to connect classroom learning to real weather made this visit extra special. 🌎🌤️

Thank you, WPTV, James Wieland, and Mr. Hillabrandt, for making this unforgettable experience happen. Thank you for giving our Eagles another reason to stay curious and dream big! 🦅✨

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we’re giving some of our very own Dan McCarty Middle School students the spotlight to share where they are from and celebrate the roots that make them who they are. 🎥✨

Their voices remind us that our school’s story is shaped by the cultures, traditions, and experiences each student brings to our campus. We are proud of who they are and grateful for all they add to our Eagle family!

The month may be ending, but celebrating our students’ heritage and helping them feel seen, valued, and connected continues every day. 🦅

Join us November 2–6 for a week of school spirit, fun, and memories!

🏐 Monday, November 2 — Green & Gold Day
Wear your school colors and cheer on our volleyball team as we host CAST! Students wearing green or gold may stay after school for the game.

😎 Tuesday, November 3 — Student Skip Day
Enjoy your designated day off during Homecoming Week!

🎪 Wednesday, November 4 — Twin Day & Carnival
Coordinate with a friend, then join us on the track for bounce houses, face painting, games, and a DJ! Pizza, hot dogs, and icy treats will be available.

✨ Thursday, November 5 — Glow Party During Lunch
Get ready to glow, dance, and celebrate with your fellow Eagles!

👕👑 Friday, November 6 — College Jersey Day & Homecoming Dance
Represent your future college, then join us from 6–8 p.m. for our Homecoming Dance and the crowning of our Homecoming King and Queen!

🎟️ $30 VIP Package(Limited)
Includes access to all Homecoming activities, plus hot dogs and one snack item at the carnival! All Activities purchased separately and additional items will have individual fees.

🌟 Hispanic Heritage Spotlight: Mr. Joshua Oviedo! 🌟

Mr. Oviedo brings nearly 10 years of experience in education and a personal connection to the students he serves. Spanish was his first language, and as a former ESOL student, he understands the challenges of learning a new language and the difference encouragement and support can make.

After growing up in Indiantown, Mr. Oviedo recently moved to Fort Pierce and joined our Dan McCarty Middle School ESOL team. He immediately made a huge impact—supporting our students, building meaningful relationships, and creating connections that help them feel understood, valued, and confident.

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we proudly recognize the experiences, passion, and dedication he brings to our school. We are so proud and happy to have Mr. Oviedo as part of our Eagle family! 💚💛🦅
