Pilot Club of St. Lucie County

Pilot Club of St. Lucie County We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month for our Business Meeting at Haisley Reception Center at 6pm Thus, the motto, “True Course Ever”. Lucie County.

Pilot International was founded in 1921 as a volunteer service organization. The historic inspiration for the name was the riverboat pilot who would steer a true course through calm or troubled waters.

Locally, we provide lap robes, bibs, supplies and holiday gifts for the residents of Broadmoor Assisted Living Facility and Royal Care Assisted Living. We present a $1000 scholarship to a graduating senior of St. We provide holiday treats to local children. We are part of the Florida District which sponsor 4 scholarship houses at 3 universities, University of Florida, Florida State and Florida Gulf Coast University. These houses offer rent free housing to 77 students. Each student has a house bill of approximately $950 per semester which covers their share of utilities, house food and supplies. We save all of these students over $931,700 each year. We are a fundraising organization for Wreaths Across America. And our members go to Florida National Cemetery to participate in the Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony in December. To raise funds for our service projects, we have two spaghetti dinners, two trading trash and treasures, a raffle, A Celebration of Life, and a raffle.
