The Van Duzer Foundation The mission of the Van Duzer Foundation is to assist families and individuals in St. Founded by Scott J. Lucie County, Florida.

Lucie County Florida, who are experiencing financial and personal hardship brought about by unforeseen crisis or tragedy. Van Duzer and led by a small, but incredibly ADHD group of community leaders, the Van Duzer Foundation works hard to help individuals and families in crisis in St. We also promote the importance of being a hero by donating blood. Best of all, we have a blast doing it, and we're always looking for more volunteers and supporters.

St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Deputy Anatoli Schwartz is a much-beloved School Resource Officer (SRO) typically spends his days preventing crime, mentoring students, building positive community relationships, mediating conflicts, enhancing student safety, and responding to emergencies.

For the past year though, he’s been in a fight for his life with cancer. And just like any young warrior relies on his strength, courage, and training, Anatoli also relies on his warriors. On Saturday, January 24th, we are all soldiers in Anatoli’s Army, and whether we help his family by donating blood, sharing a hug, or eating a slice of pizza, we can all help Anatoli and his family by showing them what this community is all about.

Come out and help us help Rio Ratermanis, one of Fort Pierce's most caring community members, on Wednesday, October 8th. Whatever you eat, drink, or tip will help Rio keep her home and pay some pretty major medical bills off. Rio helps so many in our community and shares so much of her time, love, and energy that it's a treat to be able to give back to her. Won't you join us?

We all make resolutions to do better, be better, live better. But sometimes, terrible things happen, and we are shattered and need to feel the loving embrace and support of others to help us make a new start. On January 1st, we know you’re busy celebrating the hopes of the brand new year, but we hope you’ll take time to come out and share some love with a family who has suffered an unimaginable tragedy and needs our love and support to help start 2025 with a fresh new, loving start.
