We will be open and ready to serve you tomorrow, July 6.

A reminder that the Monday after a holiday closure is guaranteed to be a very busy day. All of our appointments are booked, but we do have plenty available every other day this week at all three locations. Go to TCSLC.COM to schedule yours.

You can also take advantage of our daily walk-in hours from 2:30 – 5 p.m., but know that tomorrow will likely be the longest wait times for walk-ins.

STATEMENT FROM TAX COLLECTOR CHRIS CRAFT REGARDING MAY 11 CLOSURE

Yesterday, I made the call to close our offices early because of the severe weather potential we were monitoring. As it turned out, St. Lucie County got more sunshine than storms - and I know many of you let us know exactly how you felt about that.

All joking aside, I understand the frustration. The decision was mine, and I apologize for the inconvenience it caused. As we always do when we close unexpectedly, we tried to make up for lost time by opening early today to accommodate those who were inconvenienced. We will also review how we make and communicate these decisions going forward.

Thank you for your patience and thank you for holding us accountable.
