Who is ready for the 4th of July? Oahe Downstream will have several events for you to partake in during the weekend while camping.

T-Shirt Decorating July 2 - 7 pm by Site 132

Kids Bike Parades July 3 - 9:45 CG 3 and 11 am CG 1/2

Potato Sack Races July 3 - 7 pm by the amphitheatre

Campsite Decorating Contest July 2 - 4 (prizes on July 4!)
(you don't want to miss out on this one... we have some cool prizes for the winner of each campground)

Bring the bikes for the kids, bring the decorations for your campsite and bring the fun! While you are at it, don't forget to register for Adventure 250 to get entered into the weekly drawing. We have a lot of FUN planned for the holiday and we look forward to a wonderful weekend.

PSA: If you have used our fish grinder/equipment this weekend, please double check to make sure you have all of your equipment. We have received several found items that were left at the grinder. They are at the welcome center office. To claim the items, please call 605-223-7722 with a description.

Did you know RAIN is good for fishing?!?! ! It creates ideal conditions that make fish more active and less cautious. So make sure you come out tomorrow morning, June 20, from10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Oahe Downstream for the 19th annual Kid's Fishing Derby! We have everything ready for a GREAT time. We have wonderful prizes courtesy of Dakotamart Of Pierre, Fort Pierre and Martin and Runnings Stores. See you tomorrow! (ONE more thing... bring dad, grandpa, or uncle too! We have prizes they could win too!)
