Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital is proud to launch a new Army Hearing Program awareness campaign designed to educate Soldiers on protecting their hearing throughout their military careers and beyond.

Throughout the coming weeks, we’ll share practical hearing conservation tips, explain why hearing health matters, and highlight the resources available through the Army Hearing Program.

The DoD is upgrading how you access your TRICARE benefits, MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, and milConnect. They're replacing the legacy DS Logon with myAuth—a more modern, secure, and user-friendly authentication system.

Here is what you need to do to ensure uninterrupted access to your healthcare portals:

👉 Set up your account early: You can create your myAuth account right now using your existing DS Logon credentials. If you wait until DS Logon is completely retired in 2026, you will have to undergo a longer identity verification process.
👉 Have a unique email ready: Your email address will become your myAuth username. For security purposes, you cannot share an email address with a spouse or family member; everyone needs their own.
👉 Watch for the new login screens: Platforms like milConnect and ID Card Office Online have already transitioned. When you visit these sites, simply follow the step-by-step prompts to create your myAuth account.

💡 Key Takeaway: Beat the rush and set up your myAuth account today using your current DS Logon so you don't lose access to your medical records or benefits!

Readiness starts long before an emergency.

At Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, 31 health care professionals came together for a three-day Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum Skills Fair to strengthen the clinical skills and teamwork needed to respond to high-risk maternal and newborn emergencies.

Through hands-on simulation and interdisciplinary training, staff from across the hospital practiced high-risk, low-frequency procedures that help ensure they are ready to deliver safe, high-quality care when every second matters. Training like this strengthens our Ready Medical Force while supporting the Defense Health Agency’s mission of generating medically ready forces and a ready medical force.

Originally from Leesville, Louisiana, Keeley is proud to serve the military community close to home. Every day, she helps Soldiers, Families, retirees, and beneficiaries by providing compassionate customer service and supporting the team behind the scenes to ensure patients receive the care they need.
