Well, everyone Dave is here and ready for opening weekend as well as the season. We still have 7 modern sites open, all 4 of the modern group sites available, and both horse and primitive sites are wide open so come on out and enjoy a relaxing weekend with us.

If you are still looking for a site for Memorial Day weekend or any other time, we have our five new sites (32-36) that were put in last September as well as site 19 that is now a pull in site as well as site 20B that is a back in. We cannot wait to see you all this summer.

Congratulations to our newest park ranger, Elizabeth Klein, on graduating from the ND Law Enforcement Training Academy this April. Liz has officially completed her training and is now serving as a park ranger at Fort Ransom State Park.

This intensive training prepares individuals to become licensed peace officers in North Dakota, and her achievement reflects a strong commitment to serving others.

We are proud to have Liz on our team as she helps create safe, meaningful experiences that connect people and places across our state parks. Join us in congratulating her!

This guy would like to tell you that the Parks visitor center will be closed today and that you can pay for your entrance fee online or at the Iron Ranger just east of the visitor center and he hopes to see you in the park enjoying the trails.

We had a great time on Saturday at our Ready, Set, Bloom event. The kids enjoyed the fun activities. Roscoe even surprised us and showed up and had fun with the kids! Thanks to all who attended.
