🚨🚨🚨LATE POST ALERT!! 🚨🚨🚨

It’s time for the ODIN weekly roll up! What a weeks it’s been!

We want to congratulate CPT Caleb Licavoli on a successful command of ODIN Company and we wish him well as he and his family transition to NTC later this year.

We also want go welcome CPT Jasmine McCormick as she begins her time as ODIN 6. Carry the flag!

Continuing with the chain of excellence, we had two promotions this week. SSG Suarez and SPC Cook both made the next step in their careers in the Army and we are proud to continue to serve alongside them.

Also last week, as is tradition in many units, we conducted the “Murph” workout honoring the late Medal of Honor recipient Lieutenant Michael Murphy. The workout consisted of a 1-mile run, 100 push ups, 200 pull ups, 300 air squats, followed by another 1- mile run.

Finally, down in Bulgaria the team closed out the week in style with a platoon BBQ with a Hawaiian shirt theme.

Check out Operation Once in a Lifetime. They're doing a lot to make sure our Soldiers feel welcome back home.

Thousands of our Active Duty Militaty are deployed to Poland, Lithuania and other NATO countries due to the current situation in Ukraine & to support our NATO allies.
These soldiers have been deployed for over 9 months and are do to be home soon.
We want to provide a true Hero‘s welcome home by supporting the 1,400+ single soldiers from Fort Riley living in the barracks by providing new linens, snacks and toiletries for their rooms.
For every $30 raised, you sponsor one single soldier by having their room outfitted with a new twin size sheet set, a new pillow, blanket, towel, snacks and toiletries; so that when these amazing g young men & women arrive back home they can simply drop their bags, relax and know that they are remembered and supported🇺🇸🇺🇸

Quick change to todays SFRG Cookout to mitigate the incoming weather:

It looks like we will be getting wet, if we meet at Moon Lake Park tomorrow. 🌦🌦🌦🌩🌩🌩
We will move our gathering into the Battalion Headquarters. (8710 Sustainment Drive Fort Riley KS.)

We will have food, activities for kids, and an opportunity to meet and ask questions of volunteers and key leaders.
