Worms, Writing, and Some VERY Brave Principals!
After reading "How to Eat Fried Worms", Ms. Cocking’s fourth graders decided that reading about eating worms just wasn’t enough… someone needed to actually DO IT!

So, they put their persuasive writing skills to the ultimate test and wrote a letter convincing our principals to visit their classroom and eat a WORM (the gummy version at least)! 🪱

Who knew persuasive writing could be so… appetizing?!
Just another day of learning (and questionable snacks) at Morris Hill!

A BIG congratulations to our Kindness Award recipients! Each teacher selected one student from their classroom who goes above and beyond to show kindness, compassion, and respect to others. Thank you for making Morris Hill a brighter place with your kind hearts!

We also want to give a special shoutout to two of our Outstanding Student Job recipients for their amazing work helping with our morning announcements! Your hard work, responsibility, and dedication do not go unnoticed!

From September 15 to October 15, our Panthers celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month through classroom activities, Spirit Week, art, music, and morning announcements featuring songs by Hispanic artists!
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for helping us celebrate our cultures, honor our roots, and learn from one another.

Hispanic Heritage Month Spirit Week
It was so much fun to see our Panthers proudly wearing the colors of their flags today! Our students celebrated their roots with pride and joy, reminding us of the beauty of honoring our cultures and being proud of who we are! Remember to wear a jerseys, T-shirts, or hats tomorrow to show your support for Hispanic athletes around the world.
