Several weeks ago three Bandit Aviators achieved the designation of AH-64E Pilot-in-Command.

WO1 Deckert, CW2 Rose, and CW2 Vail successfully completed a train up and evaluation process to earn the responsibility of this position. Our Troop is excited for their aviation futures and fortunate for their hard work.

This past Tuesday CW3 DeNico Woode took his final flight as an Army Aviator. Nico has served with distinction and honor over the last 23 years both on the ground and in the air. Having flown over 2,500 flight hours across the OH-58 Kiowa and AH-64 Apache, completed multiple combat deployments, and held numerous roles of responsibility, Nico has demonstrated what it means to be a quiet professional and a true Cavalryman. We cannot thank Nico and his family enough for their sacrifice and dedication. Good luck in your future endeavors! Some Bandit action from the Novo Selo Training Area (NSTA), Bulgaria this last week. A package of aircrews and maintainers have pushed south to support 1-6 IN and NATO allies on multiple training and capability fronts. 🤝 🇺🇸 🇮🇹 🇩🇪
