The Bruiser Battalion hosted a hail and farewell dinner at the Dry Beaver Supper Club to welcome CPT Reshard Horne to the battalion as the new HQ/A Battery commander. The Bruiser Nation also farewelled CPT Tom Thai and 1SG Timothy Szika. This week Chaplain Schumacher led a Bruiser luncheon where cadre and family members participated in a Building Strong and Ready Teams event. Participants leveraged technology to learn their CORE recon sequence and increase social awareness and emotional intelligence.

Today was a great day to recognize excellence within the Bruiser Nation! Congratulations to SSG Colobong (14P instructor), SSG Ramirez (Avenger Master Gunner instructor), and SSG Stokes (14E Instructor) for earning their Senior Army Instructor Bagde!

We had the pleasure of recognizing 1LT Matlock-Jones for her outstanding achievement while planning the warrior adventure quest for the HQ/A Armadillo trainees.

We recognized a few of our outstanding 14T instructors SSG Johnson, SSG Melchor, and SFC Simonsen for their selfless dedication and enthusiasm to support the City of Lawton’s Freedom Festival!

Lastly, the Bruiser family bid farewell SFC Chenault, we commend him for his tremendous service as a Senior Drill Sergeant and 14G instructor while assigned to the Bandit Battery.

The Bruiser Battalion bid farewell to LTC Seth Barrett, SFC Harris, and SFC Navarrete during this evening’s Battalion Hail and Farewell.

The atmosphere was bittersweet, filled with moments of reminiscence of Bruiser 06’s distinguished Command of the 3-6 ADA Battalion.

The Bruiser Battalion also welcomed two new members to the team; Captain Johnmorton, the incoming AMD Test Detachment Commander and CPT Napolis, the incoming HQ/A Battery Commander. BRUISER NATION!

The Bruiser Battalion chaplain had the pleasure of hosting a Prayer and Resiliency Dinner this evening. The guest speaker was MSG Sean Ambriz. He shared his wartime experiences and the leadership lessons he endured during his combat tours in Afghanistan. Our trainees had the opportunity to participate in a Q & A with MSG Ambriz, where 10 students who’ve demonstrated exceptional resilience were selected to receive MSG Ambriz’s recent book.
