1st Brigade / 95th Division Army Reserve Drill Sergeant Recruiting Page Achieve a "military dream" and become a U.S. Army Drill Sergeant in the 1st Brigade / 95 Division. It has units from coast to coast and Hawaii.

The 95th Training Division (Initial Entry Training) is an Army Reserve unit headquartered at Fort Sill, Okla. The division’s peacetime mission is to support the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). Our drill sergeants conduct initial entry training for new Soldiers entering the Army. Drill sergeants are the cornerstone of Army readiness, entrusted with the task of preparing new Soldiers

to fight and win the nation's wars. The skill of producing quality Soldiers demands that only the Army's best and brightest can serve as drill sergeants. Appoximately 2,000 drill sergeants train 160,000 new Soldiers each year. Soldiers receive training in subjects such as military conduct and courtesy, basic rifle marksmanship, chemical, biological and radiological training, first-aid, offensive and defensive tactics, patrolling, weapons, land navigation, communications, and drill and ceremonies. In the event of mobilization, the division will augment TRADOC installations by providing companies or battalions as necessary. Additionally, the 95th will provide personnel and/or detachments to deploy in support of theater operations.

U.S. Army Reserve Drill Sergeant Juan Parada, a 1st Battalion, 355th Regiment soldier as well as 95th Training Division's 2021 Drill Sergeant of the Year, completed the School this month at Fort Benning, GA.

He attended this 12-day course with 240 other service members, but only 183/240 graduated from his class group (76%). 2 out of 5 Soldiers from the 108th Training Command (Initial Entry Training) completed the course and 95th TD’s own DS Parada was one of them. He also earned the distinction of Distinguished Honor Grad at the school!
