She greets each day with a smile, a “good morning”, and a classic “it’s gonna be a great day”! She is the biggest cheerleader for Adult Education. Congratulations Dana on this well-deserved award! We are so proud of you and love working with you.

🎉 Today is the day! Join us for one last look at our building as we celebrate the memories, the community, and the exciting future ahead. Our Community Block Party begins at 11:00 AM. We can’t wait to see you there!

📢 **Now Hiring: Hourly Adult Education Instructor**

Fort Smith Adult Education is seeking a licensed **Math or English teacher** to provide GED instruction and help students work toward high school equivalency attainment at the Mansfield Juvenile Correctional Facility.

This is meaningful, part-time work for an educator who believes relationships matter, can work with diverse learners, and wants to help young people build real academic and career opportunities.

**Details:**
• Begins August 2026
• 2–4 days per week | 8–14 hours per week
• $25 per hour
• Day and/or evening flexibility may be required
• Arkansas teaching licensure required; Math or English preferred
