πŸ’ͺ Public Works crews laid a fresh layer of asphalt this week on North Waldron Road, just north of Grand Avenue.

A huge thank you to the teams working every day in this heat to keep the City's infrastructure in great shape.

🚧 Help Keep Our Road Striping Crews Safe 🚧

When you see City road striping vehicles working, please use extra caution.

For the safety of our crews and everyone on the road:
β€’ Do not drive between the striping vehicles in the moving work zone.
β€’ Do not cross through the convoy or cut across its direction of travel.
β€’ Stay behind the last vehicle in the operation until it is safe to pass.
β€’ Avoid changing lanes through the moving work zone.

Road striping is essential for keeping our streets safe and clearly marked, but it does require temporary traffic disruptions. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to complete this important maintenance as safely and efficiently as possible.

Recently, we've seen an increase in motorists driving into active striping operations despite warning lights and signage. Doing so puts both workers and drivers at risk and can damage equipment and vehicles.

Thank you for helping us keep our crews safe by slowing down, staying alert, and giving road striping operations the space they need.
