We received a wonderful update from Dr. Savanna Robison, Executive Director of Student Support Services:

"This is a positive update regarding the success of the student-organized ARCOM Remote Area Medical (RAM) clinic and the significant impact of this initiative on our community! I wanted to ensure you were all aware of these impressive results and the meaningful difference this effort has made.

I received confirmation from the RAM team that preliminary numbers show 328 patients were registered and $249,678 in services were provided through the clinic.

This successful initiative would not have been possible without mission-driven students and the generous support of the Degen Foundation, along with a game-time donation from the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Smith. If you would like more information about the RAM Clinic or the students involved, please let me know!

We are grateful for these partnerships and for the dedication of everyone who helped make this possible. Thank you for your continued support of our students and their efforts to serve our community."

Don't forget the RAM Event at Kay Rogers Park (Fairgrounds) starting tomorrow a 6:00am! The Degen Foundation is a sponsor!!

✨ Calling All River Valley Nurses: Carrying the Torch for Those Who Cleared the Path ✨
Every day, we step onto the floor because someone showed us what it means to care. But what happens when a fellow nurse’s shift on earth comes to an end?
of The Nurses Honor Guard of the River Valley ensures that no nurse goes to their final rest without being deeply honored. We attend services in traditional uniform—capes, caps, and all—to present a flower, light the Nightingale lamp, and officially release them from their earthly duties.
It is incredibly powerful. But we need the next generation of nurses to help keep this beautiful tradition alive.
Whether you’ve been in scrubs for one year or ten, your presence matters. Joining the Honor Guard doesn't take a massive time commitment, but it gives grieving families a peace they will never forget.
