As we close out EMS Week 2026, we have to thank those of you that stopped by to bless our staff with goodies throughout the week. Our shelves and tables stayed full of all the yummies.

Nothing went to waste and EVERYTHING was appreciated more than you know. The kindness and support shown to our crews means so much to all of us.

Thank you again for being so giving, thoughtful and supportive during EMS Week.

Just when you think your day can’t get any better, these two little ladies show up and want to say the Pledge of Allegiance with our staff. Their confidence, smiles and bravery were absolutely incredible to witness.

Today was an “All American” kind of day! 🇺🇸

We grilled brats and hot dogs, made dirty sodas, and were treated to the most stunning dessert bar and thoughtful gifts compliments of our friends at Encompass Health. We love what they do for our community and are so thankful to have them cheering us on week after week.

Today, (day 4 of EMS Week) was a BIG day at Fort Smith EMS! Our staff enjoyed an amazing lunch catered by Bruce and Terri’s, a backpack bar to “glam” up the EMS bags gifted to every staff member by our Director, tons of goodies, fun photo opportunities, corn hole and, most importantly, fellowship with one another.

In the middle of all the fun, we paused to recognize some very deserving individuals. Our ⭐️Dispatcher, ⭐️EMT and ⭐️Paramedic of the Year were honored by our Director, Tim Hearn, alongside our Medical Director. ⭐️Our Assistant Director of Operations was also recognized by our staff for the impact and support he provides to our service.

We wrapped up the day with drawings for gifts that blessed several deserving and lucky staff members.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our station to visit, encourage and celebrate EMS Week with us.
We are thankful for our community and every single person that helps keep ❤️ Fort Smith EMS 🖤 moving forward.

Day 3 of EMS Week on “Taco 🌮 Tuesday.” What a great day it was to share a meal with our staff and our Board of Directors.

Thank you to those that endured hours of rain followed by the very warm temperatures and humidity while continuing to answer the call for our community.

The respect we have for every person that climbs in and out of our ambulances or answers the 911 calls ❤️🖤 is immeasurable.

Happy EMS Week 🎉 to all of those making a difference every single day. We see you, we appreciate you and we are thankful for the care you give our community.
