🐐🚌 MOVE OVER SHARK WEEK… IT’S GOAT WEEK!

Something a little different is coming to Fort Smith Transit this week!

We recently had a couple of four-legged visitors from Natural Brush Control stop by and check out our buses, and let’s just say… they gave Fort Smith Transit their GOAT stamp of approval! πŸ˜‚πŸ

The pictures were just too good not to have a little fun with them, so starting tomorrow, join us for GOAT WEEK β€” 5 days of fun, community, transit, and plenty of goat humor along the way!

A special THANK YOU to Natural Brush Control for bringing their goats by and being good sports as we turn their visit into a week of fun. We appreciate community partners who help us show a different, lighter side of public transportation! ❀️

Because public transportation connects everybody… apparently even goats. πŸπŸ˜‚πŸšŒ

Follow along all week and see what our GOATs are up to!

🚍 Share Your Thoughts on Proposed Route Adjustments

Fort Smith Transit is seeking public input during a 30-day public comment period on proposed adjustments to the Towson and Jenny Lind fixed routes.

These proposed changes are intended to improve safety, increase efficiency, and enhance schedule reliability.

Proposed changes include:
🚌 The Towson Route would serve Walmart on Zero Street.
🚌 The Jenny Lind Route would continue straight on Jenny Lind Road and no longer enter Walmart.
🚌 Riders traveling to Walmart from the Jenny Lind Route could transfer to the Towson Route near Wendy's on Zero Street.
🚌 Travel times on both routes are expected to improve by approximately 5 minutes.

No bus stops are being eliminated. The proposal adjusts which route serves certain locations while maintaining access to key destinations, including Walmart.
