🚨 PUBLIC NOTICE – TRAINING EXERCISE 🚨

On Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 9:30 AM, the Fort Smith Public Schools Police Department will participate in a full-scale emergency response training exercise with the Fort Smith Police Department, fire departments, EMS, emergency management, and hospital personnel.

🚍 The exercise will simulate a mock school bus crash and is designed to strengthen coordination and preparedness during large-scale emergencies.

📍 Location: Fort Smith Baptist Hospital
Affected Areas: Northwest Employee Parking Lot (Corner of G Street & Towson Avenue) and Lexington Avenue (behind the hospital).

Residents may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and first responders in the area. Please do not be alarmed. This is only a planned training exercise, and there is no danger to the public.
