This weekend carries a weight that many of us cannot fully understand.

For the veterans in our communities, Memorial Day is more than a date on the calendar. It is the faces they remember. The names they still speak aloud. The brothers and sisters who never came home.

At Exchange Clubs across the country, we hold space for that grief and that gratitude. We gather at Freedom Shrines. We stand quietly at gravesides. We listen.

This weekend, let us be present for the veterans in our lives. A phone call. A handwritten note. A seat saved at the table.

Club meetings won't be the same. ๐Ÿ™

Longtime member and Past President Tommy Fowler passed away earlier this week. An Exchangite since 1996, Tommy served as Club President in 2008, was a Past Mid-America District Exchange Clubs President, and a District Director. He was a decorated veteran and known for his willingness to serve and help others. He will be deeply missed by our Club and countless members of the community.

Please keep his daughter and fellow Exchangite Robyn, as well as Tommy's wife, Barbara, in your prayers.

Celebrate the life of Boyd Fowler and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.
