The U.S. Army is offering promotion incentives to Soldiers who refer individuals to their local recruiting station.

The Soldier Referral Program incentivizes current Soldiers to share their experiences with high quality candidates, educating and inspiring them about the benefits of Army service.

The SRP authorizes promotions for Soldiers in the ranks of private, private 1st class, and specialist whose referral enlists and ships to basic training. These Soldiers also receive the Recruiting Ribbon. They may only earn one promotion but may earn up to four awards of the Recruiting Ribbon.
