Winning Matters! Cpl. Shaughnessy places 1st among 35G (Geospatial Intel Imagery Analyst) and #3 overall of 92 competitors at the 25th Infantry Division’s Top INT Competition that took place in Hawaii from 22-25 JAN.

We are very pleased to announce that Spc. Kim of Alpha Detachment has been selected for the US Army’s Green to Gold Program! This program sends Soldiers to a college of their choice to earn their bachelor’s degrees and commission as an active duty Army officer upon graduation. We are very proud of Spc. Kim and his amazing accomplishment!

Bringing the team together. Lt. Col. O’Neal and Command Sgt. Maj. Nguyen hosted this quarter’s State of the Battalion with Dagger Solders and their families. This quarter’s events were discussed and awards presented. Congratulations to all of our battalion and brigade NCO/Soldier of the Month, Quarter, and Year winners!

Arbiter Detachment Change of Command

This week Alpha Detachment hosted the Dagger Battalion’s first Top 35G Competition! The competition consisted of ESB tasks, day/night land navigation, geospatial analyst skills testing, an ACFT, and an 8 mile ruck, testing the technical and tactical competence and fitness of 35G Soldiers. Overall, CPL Shaughnessy was recognized for placing first in the competition and was awarded an AAM! CPL Sanchez was recognized for the top 35G skills testing scores with an NGA coin!

Winning Matters! 103rd Soldiers engaged in friendly competition during the unit’s annual Turkey Bowl. The 103rd Commander’s Cup, made by Sgt. McLean, was unveiled, coins were presented to detachment team MVPs, and HHD will keep the trophy until the next competition for winning the tournament. Congrats to our winners and a special thanks to those that put on such a great event!
