The Honey Badgers are starting to phase into “New Beginnings”. The squad leaders in this Platoon have created such a family like bond within all the squads and now the straw has sadly been picked. SSG Gomez is the first squad leader to leave the Honey Badgers, he’s heading to Belgium to conduct PSD. Good luck on your future endeavors and thank you for leadership and mentorship you will be missed by everyone! SSG Gomez received an ARCOM, coin rack and plaque!

Yesterday the Honey Badgers had the honor and privilege to provide the detail for MWD Bundus on his last and final salute. Thank you Bundus for giving majority of your life to serve our country. Your hard work and protection to your handlers are much appreciated!

In February, we had two phenomenal Soldiers (CPL Trahan and SGT Murrell) become inducted into the NCO Corp. The NCO induction ceremony is a celebration of the newly promoted joining the ranks of a professional noncommissioned officer corps and emphasizes and builds on the pride we all share as members of such an elite corps. The ceremony also serve’s to honor the memory of those men and women of the NCO Corps who have served with pride and distinction.
