UPDATE: Emergency Department Normal Operations Resumed
The Winn ACH Emergency Department has completed its planned system updates and is back in its original location.

Status: Full service and normal capabilities restored

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Winn Emergency Department Temporary Relocation, Oct. 10

The change in location is expected to affect delivery of care and wait times as the Winn Emergency Department temporarily moves to the hospital’s 3rd-floor inpatient care ward on October 10 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What you need to know:

Care Capabilities: The change in location is expected to affect delivery of care and wait times.

Date & Time: October 10 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Hospital Access: Patients seeking care may still park in the ED parking lot. Enter through the main hospital side door to the left of the ED wing. Escorts will be available to guide you to the 3rd-floor temporary ED.

Severe Emergencies: If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, you should always call 911.

The temporary move is for necessary electrical system updates.

Thank you for your patience as we make these essential facility updates.

Every birth marks a special moment for our patients, families, and care teams. Winn Army Community Hospital celebrated Baby Coastyn as its third Baby of the Month for October on Oct. 2.

Col. Alex Montgomery, Winn ACH commander and director, presented Coastyn, daughter of CoNeisha and Staff Sgt. Jordan Whetstone, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, with a special 3rd ID-themed onesie. Coastyn’s arrival reflects Winn’s commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to Soldiers, families, and beneficiaries from their very first moments and throughout every stage of life.
