The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Ready, family near and far, mark the date on your calendar: October 30, 2025. 🗓️📅🎉 The Raider Brigade is hosting a Trunk or Treat event. Every Battalion in Raider Brigade will be located in the Raider Brigade parking lot. Come out in your favorite costume, bring the family; there will be numerous giveaways. There will be prizes for the best decorated trunk and the best costumes, among other awards. Food trucks and a photo booth will also be available in the parking lot. The Ready Battalion is ready to take home all the prizes 🏆🥇🎈See you there!

3rd BSB leaders discussed lessons learned during rotation with the 35 Dywizjon Rakietowy Obrony Powietrznej base Commander to strengthen relations with future units. The comments of the CDR remained praiseworthy of the professionalism of the Soldiers of the 3rd BSB. There will always be a place in this community for the Soldiers of this Battalion, and that is due to the hard work and sacrifice of the Officers, Warrant Officers, NCOs, and Soldiers of the 3rd BSB. “Best BSB in the Army” Ready to Roll!!!!

Ready 6 & 7 visited the Port of Gdynia to check on the Ready Soldiers supporting port operations. The Soldiers were ready and in position, supporting victory as expected in ready fashion. The Ready Battalion continued to build upon its reputation as the “Best BSB in the Army” Ready Since 1917!

Ready Battalion leadership visits Gorzów High School to express their great appreciation of the cultural experience that Ready Soldiers experienced while serving as mentors to the students. The entire school staff raves about the professionalism of the Soldiers of the Ready Battalion and how the students ask at least once a day when the U.S. Soldiers are coming again. Each engagement represented the commitment we had to make things better through maintaining partnerships and building meaningful relationships. “Ready to Roll”!!!

Ready Battalion leadership conducts a final engagement with the local government and shared appreciation sentiments for the professional community engagements that helped build strong relationships. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Skwierzyna, Poland praised the Ready Battalion Soldiers for their professionalism and even said this Battalion has been Ready Since 1917. The efforts of all the Soldiers have left a lasting impression on the community that will support strong alliances for years to come. “Ready to Roll”!!!!!
