MULTI-FACETED.

756 OD CO (EOD) advanced their skills in forensic exploitation, focusing on fingerprinting and DNA evidence collection. Combining expertise in hazard device disposal with meticulous forensic techniques strengthens our commitment to safety, intelligence, and success. We would like to thank the 6th Civil Engineering Squadron and 25th Tech Es**rt for joining us during this range and sharing their diverse expertise with our techs. This training also wouldn’t have been possible without the Forensic Exploitation Department and their support with two lab technicians sharing their knowledge and practices with us.

FAMILY FIRST.

Today, we shared our work day with those who matter most to us - our families! The Blaster family spent today cooking out, bouncing away, and having equipment demonstrations. We are so thankful to who sponsored a bounce house and slide for the youngest blasters.

SOLDIERS FIRST.

This week, 756 Blasters completed Combat Lifesaver training, equipping us with vital skills to save lives on and off the battlefield. In the face of adversity, readiness and preparedness are paramount. We also had a dedicated team at Fort Jackson, SC, who not only supported Explosive Ordnance Disposal operations but also used their downtime wisely to complete crucial parts of their team leader certifications.

WELCOMING CHANGE.

756 Blasters had a busy welcome to spring. SSG Matics and SPC Trudnak competed for 52nd Group Team of the Year, being awarded second place for their incredible ex*****on of various EOD tasks. We celebrated Easter with the 756th and 38th family with an Easter egg hunt of over 400 eggs, bunny bowling, and chalk drawing. We’ve supported over 1000 hours towards Very Important Personnel Protection Support Activity (VIPPSA) over the last two weeks, and finally spent this week preparing for an upcoming validation exercise. We are thankful to have brought in the new season with plenty of growth and plenty of fun!

WELCOME TO THE BLASTER FAMILY.

On Thursday, February 15th, 2024, CPT Anna Thomsen took command of 756th OD CO (EOD). Her first assignment was to 744TH OD CO (EOD), 184TH OD BN (EOD) at Fort Campbell, KY where she served as a platoon leader. She then attended Logistics Captain’s Career Course at Fort Gregg Adams, Virginia where she was selected to be the commander of 756TH OD CO (EOD).

756 Blasters want to extend our gratitude to CPT Jose Matos for the last 24 months of tireless dedication to the company as our commander. We wish nothing but the absolute best for him as his time at Fort Stewart, GA comes to a close, and his time at TPO, Fort Gregg-Adams begins.
