The Fort Stewart/Hunter AAF Army Education Center is making changes to streamline how we communicate with you. As part of an Army-wide effort to consolidate and improve our communication efforts, all future Fort Stewart/Hunter AAF Army Education Center Facebook updates will be posted to the Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield Garrison page beginning Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026. To ensure continued quality support, Fort Stewart Education Center staff will participate in recurring training beginning January 14, 2026. As a result, services will be limited on Wednesdays until 10:00 AM, and wait times may be extended.

After years of faithful service, Ms. J is beginning a new chapter in retirement. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, hard work, and the care she consistently showed in everything she did. Our recent Christmas Party was filled with laughter, connection, and appreciation for an incredible team that works hard all year in service to Soldiers. 🚨 Important Notice 🚨

Due to the government shutdown and funding constraints, all communications on Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield digital platforms are temporarily suspended.

The Education Center will also be impacted during this time. Services will be extremely limited, and staff will not be available until further notice.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will provide updates as soon as normal operations resume.

⚠️ ATTENTION Soldiers, Civilians, and Cadets ⚠️
URGENT UPDATE: If Congress does not pass a Budget or Continuing Resolution before 1959 EST today, 30 September 2025, the following actions will take immediate effect:
System Changes:

The ability to create TA and CA requests will be removed
A stopper will be added to the Education Goal stating: "Due to the Government shutdown, FY26 funds are not available at this time. Please check back for updates."

Program Impacts:
🎓 Tuition Assistance (TA) – Approved requests may be cancelled.
🛠️ Credentialing Assistance (CA) – Pending requests may be cancelled.
📝 Civilian SF182s – Will be disapproved if funds are unavailable.
🎓 Cadet CPRs – Requests can be submitted but payments will not process until after the shutdown.
