Two of our own Soldiers also took home the highest honors of the event being the Pound For Pound Lifters for male and female!! A huge congratulations goes out to our beasts Sgt. Banks and Spc. Brown!! Sgt. Banks took home the Female Pound for Pound title lifting a total cumulative weight of 615lbs at a body weight of 130lbs! Spc. Brown brought home the Male Pound For Pound title lifting a cumulative total of 1,350lbs at 169.8lbs bodyweight!

We are extremely proud of all of our participants who not only train to improve their lethality for the mission but also put in the hard work, dedication and effort to maximize their potential inside and out of the gym. And we all know who to go to for help moving when those next PCS moves come up!!

Thanks to the dedication, selfless service and desire to aid Soldiers both physically and mentally, Staff Sgt. Williams and Sgt. Love have developed, implemented and began running our P3T (Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training) program back at Fort Stewart! They’ve taken it upon themselves to integrate multiple levels of health and wellness, develop a training program that includes various facets of training and have even included classes to assist these young women in both their physical and mental health.

This afternoon we had the grand pleasure of promoting not one but two Specialist's to the rank of Sergeant!! Congratulations to Sgt. Brown and Sgt. Remelgado on their promotion and welcome to the NCO Corps! Both Sgt. Brown and Sgt. Remelgado are 13R Radar Operators who play a crucial role in detecting enemy indirect fire like artillery, rockets, and mortars, locating their origin and predicting impact for counter-battery fire.

The cornerstone of U.S. Army readiness, Culinary Specialists are the premier facet sustaining the force where and when it matters. With indispensable skill and adaptability, they deliver safe nutritious meals in demanding conditions. Their work fuels physical performance, sharpens mental focus and strengthens morale often becoming a powerful reminder of normalcy and care in high-stress environments. Soldiers may be far from home, but it is U.S. Army Culinary Specialists who can bring them the comfort of home thousands of miles away.

We'd like to give our most sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Culinary Specialists of 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery, 1st Infantry Division who made it possible for our Soldiers and theirs to feel home away from home this holiday season. These Soldiers were recognized by 3rd Infantry Division Commanding General Brig. Gen. Lubas and Division Command Sgt. Maj. Durgin and 3ID challenge coins were awarded to Spc. Maina and Spc. Nguyen for their hard work, dedication and eagerness to hit the ground running.

Sgt. Hensley, Sgt. Mayo, Spc. Bittner, Spc. Faust, Spc. Hunter, Spc. Maina, Spc. Nguyen, Spc. Rounds and Spc. Salinas. Thank you for directly enhancing the endurance, resiliency and collective strength of the U.S. Army's mission.

"The holidays can be heavy for many in our formation. What should be a season of light can feel like a season of weight. Too many Soldiers carry that burden alone.

If you’re carrying the weight, don’t go silent. Reach out. Let your team help you move forward because you are not alone. The Army is a people business, and we’re strongest together." - Secretary of the Army

This afternoon we closed out the work day with a Reenlistment Ceremony for two of our U.S. Army Soldiers. Staff Sgt. Rivera and Spc. Nicolas stood tall and proud as they reaffirmed their commitment by swearing a new Oath of Enlistment.

"The words are uniform across all services, and to take this oath is to make a promise. This promise sets us apart and requires us to abide by a stricter set of rules than most. It is about discipline and values. There is an expectation of excellence and integrity...It is the camaraderie, the pride, the service and commitment. Quite simply - it is about being a part of something bigger than yourself."
-Master Sgt. Wenesday Traylor

Spc. Gibeaut is one of our Signal Tactical Net Specialist (25U) and the backbone of our tactical communications. By bridging the gap between high-tech signal equipment and the Soldiers who need it, her duties and expertise ensure we stay connected for effective command and control of any mission.

Spc. Lamus is one of our high-caliber Unit Supply Specialist’s who operates with precision under pressure, anticipates challenges before they arise, and adapts quickly to changing conditions. Through strong coordination, clear communication, and relentless accountability, they keep our complex unit operations running smoothly and reliably.

Day in and day out we wouldn’t be anywhere without our Vehicle Wheeled Mechanics like Cpl. Villa. Cpl. Villa’s dedication and hard work ethic keeps our fleet in the best operating standards so we can be lethal when the mission calls.
